Timeless Tattoos to Remember Your Baby

As well as a non-permenant alternative you should try

· Keepsakes,Mind and Body

I got my first tattoo in August. I wanted to make sure that I always had her close to me, to be reminded of her teeny tiny footprints. One day, our other little kids will be climbing all over me and they might stop and look at my wrist and with their little hands, trace her name and say "sissy Gemma".

To test out the design and the location, I used InkBox. According to their website, InkBox tattoos are "plant-based, cruelty-free technology called For Now Ink™ that lasts 1-2 weeks on your skin, fading as your skin naturally regenerates. So you get super realistic, commitment-free tattoos that are easy-to-apply (and easy-to-get-hooked-on)." I designed my tattoo by uploading a photo (luckily the file I had was already black and white and digital, so it made it really easy). I added Gemma's name to the corner and picked a font and it was only about $15 including shipping! Application was easy and it came out super clear, and I immediately knew I needed it to be real and forever. It lasted about 6 days of having sharp edges and dark coloring before it started to fade. InkBox is a great idea for folks who want to remember their baby with you but don't want something permenant.

The first three people to use my link here will get 30% off. Below is a photo of my InkBox tattoo as well as some other examples you might if you're considering a tattoo. Links to each photo are attached.

Below is a photo of my InkBox tattoo (facing myself) and my actual tatoo (decided to have it facing away from me, making it easier to show others). The actual tattoo is slightly larger than the InkBox version, cost a little under $200, and took less than an hour. It is positioned about 3-4" below my wrist on my inner forearm.

If your baby had a birthmark, a unique way of keeping them close to you forever is to have their birthmark tattooed on you.
