Knit/Crochet 12" Blankets
Great volunteer opportunity for teens/adults!
Knitted & crocheted baby blankets in pastel colors are always accepted! Blankets should be no smaller than 12"x12" (and no larger than 15"x15").
Every blanket is included in a Care Package and is frequently listed as the most cherished keepsake a family receives while in the hospital.
This is a critical & constant need!

Hearts That Stay Connected
Great volunteer opportunity for beginners!
Each handcrafted pair of matching hearts is designed to provide a tangible connection between baby and family. One heart remains with the baby while the matching heart is kept as a keepsake that offers comfort long after the hospital stay.
You can make crocheted or sewn bonding hearts to be included in every Care Package. If you need yarn to get started contact us for more info.
Handwritten Cards
Great volunteer opportunity for teenagers!
Write Cards of Comfort for grieving families and Notes of Encouragement for nursing staff. Gemma's Hope distributes 100+ cards per month.
All you need are blank 4x6 cards & a pen. Our volunteer guide has full instructions and lots of examples.
