Write A Card to a Mom or Dad
There's something beautiful about receiving a beautiful, touching, handwritten card from someone you've never met. We try and keep hospitals in our network stocked with handwritten cards that families will receive with a book or with their baby's keepsake box.

Make Fleece Blankets
Create lifelong keepsakes for grieving families my making blankets. Download our instruction guide and make hand-tied fleece blankets for families to hold their precious babies in.
Host a Fundraiser
Something as simple as a dinner party in your home with friends to arranging a Cheers to Hope cocktail fundraiser with several participating restaurants and bars in your town - there are endless opportunities for you to fundraise for Gemma's Hope and help us expand our mission to every hospital & every family. (The cocktail fundraiser is SUPER easy and we have super cute coasters for you to use, too!)

Events Coordinator
Location: Remote
Skills: Event planning, project management, community events
Requirements: Phone, Computer + Wifi, local transportation (occasional)
We need fundraising ideas and an energetic person to bring those ideas to life! You would help brainstorm and execute fundraising and community events. A dedicated budget would be available for events. Most planning can be done remotely, but this person should live in or around Charlotte.
Grant Writer
Location: Remote
Skills: Grant writing, researching grant opportunities
Requirements: Computer + Wifi
We are looking for a volunteer who is familiar with applying for grants and researching potential grant opportunities.
Office Assistant/Intern
Location: Remote
Skills: Data entry, organizing digital files/emails, ad hoc projects
Requirements: Phone, Computer + Wifi
Our Executive Director is in need of a helper for some adminstrative tasks. Keeping emails, graphic designs, & files organized, maintaining our donor contact database, create processes & procedures, and occasional other tasks. 30 minutes every other day would be ideal for this person to help us stay on top our activity.
Hospital Coordinator
Location: Remote
Skills: Phone conversations with nurses, recording data
Requirements: Phone, Computer + Wifi
This volunteer would call our partner hospitals to ensure maintained contact and to check-in and see if they are in need of a restock. They will also research and call potential future hospitals to gather initial information for donor families.
