Different ways you can help and support the mission of Gemma's Hope
📋 Program & Admin Support
Keep Gemma’s Hope running smoothly behind the scenes. This includes helping with organization, data entry, thank-you notes, inventory tracking, printing/mailing materials, and prepping program resources. Perfect for volunteers who prefer to serve behind the scenes on a consistent but flexible basis.
🎉 Events & Fundraising
Be part of the energy that brings our mission to life in the community. From planning, promoting, and executing events you’ll help make our fundraisers a success. These roles are great for people who enjoy being social, creative, and hands-on—or who want to help just a few times a year in a big, meaningful way.
💌 Support from Home (Remote)
Volunteer from anywhere, anytime. These roles include resource research, preparing & writing grant submissions (for critical program funding!), digital & data entry help, or spreading awareness online. Flexible and computer/couch friendly—no driving, no meetings, just impact from your own space.
🛠 Hands-On (Charlotte, NC)
These roles involve helping prepare bereavement resources, book carts, and hospital donations. Some tasks can be done from home; others may involve helping at our HQ or during volunteer days. Often includes sorting, labeling, packing, or organizing.
🎨 Creative / Craft Roles
Use your hands and heart to create beautiful keepsakes and comforting items for grieving families. These projects are low-cost, beginner-friendly, and are great for groups!
