Gemma's Hope is pleased to announce that registration will open in August for our Perinatal Bereavement Photography Workshop, a free educational event designed for healthcare professionals who care for families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss.

Thoughtful bereavement photography can become one of the most treasured keepsakes a family receives. Whether taken with a professional camera or a smartphone, these photographs preserve precious memories and honor a baby's life with dignity and compassion.

This workshop will provide practical, hands-on guidance to help participants feel more confident creating meaningful remembrance photographs, regardless of prior photography experience.

Participants will explore topics including:

  • Creating meaningful photographs in hospital settings
  • Camera and smartphone photography techniques
  • Lighting, composition, and posing
  • Saline immersion photography
  • Respectful handling and presentation
  • Working with families during moments of grief
